The paleontological collection consists of 1000 specimens. The collection consists of a variety of fossils including fossil plants, microorganisms, invertebrates and vertebrates.
Currently on display in the museum is a large mastodon tusk. Many tusks were uncovered in the Klondike area of the Yukon due to the area being one of the few unglaciated areas where organic material was preserved in the North.
